If your VHS tape is protected by copyright (aka anything but a home movie or something in the public domain) we cannot make a DVD copy. This would be breaking copyright law. However, the librarians would be happy to help you check to see if there is a DVD version, look for an online version, or see if another film could be used as a replacement.

If you do have a VHS tape that needs converting for preservation purposes and is not protected by copyright, please contact the Library. We will not convert personal VHS tapes (ex. your wedding, your kid's softball game, etc.), but we would be able to convert materials to be used for classroom purposes.
