In August 2018, the Safari Books Online platform changed to better accommodate the needs of the OhioLINK consortium, which Walsh University is a part of. The main changes are:

  1. There is an unlimited number of seats across the consortium. So before this change, there were only 100 seats available for all OhioLINK schools. This meant that only 100 people could access the Safari platform at any given time, which is a very limited number for 121 universities to share. Now, there is no limit to how many OhioLINK students and faculty/staff can access the platform at the same time.
  2. To access the platform, you will need to create an account using your Walsh email. When clicking on a Safari link for the first time, just enter your email and follow the prompts to set-up your account. From there, you will be able to access your account from any device, both on and off campus, through your login. If you run into any issues creating your account, please email amitchell@walsh.edu

For more information about the new platform and how to set-up your account, please consult the guide and informational files located at the bottom of this box.
