Q. How do I format my Word document to have different pages for different sections? I don't want the first couple pages to have numbers at all.

Often dissertations or honors theses will need to have multiple sections with different page numbers (no page numbers for title and dedication page, roman numerals for table of contents and early pages, arabic numbers for the main part of the paper).
