Good Morning,

To find scholarly journal articles about Walsh University's nursing program, you will want to search in the library's article databases.  On the library's homepage, library.walsh.edu type the following search strategy (see image below) into the box exactly as I have typed it.  Search-A- Lot will search the majority of the library's databases at one time.

You said that you need scholarly resources, so be sure to place a check in the "limit by" box for scholarly journals.

By searching "Walsh University" in quotation marks, the database recognizes this as a phrase and will search both of the words together.  The * after Nurs will search for alternate endings such as nurse, nurses, nursing.  Adding the AND will search for all of the words.

After you click on the Search button, you will get to a page with several (over 80) article results.  Click on the title of the article to verify that it is in fact about our nursing program.  You can do this by looking at the author affiliation.

From this page you can also read a summary (or abstract) that tells what the article is about and you can find the full text of the article as well.  There will be links for .PDF or HTML or Full Text Finder.

If you have any other questions or need some help refining your search results, please don't hesitate to contact us again or stop by the library.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Henderson

Instructional Services Librarian
